Coach: Chris Butler
Hi, I am Chris Butler manager of Manuden U15’s. I was previously the team’s Assistant Manager and took on the manager’s role for season 2020/2021 when the long standing manager decided to step down. I live for match days on Sunday’s although I also really enjoy coaching the boys at training and then watching them on a match day putting into practice what they have been learnt. I am an extremely passionate hands on manager and like my teams to play a passing game on the floor.
I always make sure that whatever the score my teams battle and fight to the end of each game. Above all I want to see my boys enjoying the game and playing with a smile on their face..
I am lifelong Leicester City supporter which has certainly had its and ups and downs – 2016 was definitely an up as the 5000-1 shots romped to the Premier League Title! Unfortunately I cannot convince my children to support Leicester they are I am afraid to say keen Arsenal fans..
I am married with 3 children. My daughter is currently studying Geography at Cambridge University and my other son (not the one who plays for Manuden U15’s) also plays football locally for Bishops Stortford Swifts U18’s.
